I love Cinema

Today I talk about my taste for cinema. In effect, the cinema is very beautiful for me. In facts, one of the things that I most like to do is going to the movie theater.  I just love being in front of the big screen, and seen a good movie. I don’t remember the exact date of the last time that I go to the cinema, but I remember that I went with my girlfriend to watch "The Grand Budapest Hotel" for the director Wes Anderson, a film about the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at the famous Hotel Busdapest between the world wars, and Zero, the lobby boy who was his most trusted collaborator. Also, I remember going to see “Relatos Salvajes”, one of the most hilarious argentine films I have ever seen. Unfortunately I can’t go to the cinema as often as I would like, because in Chile, the cinema is very expensive and the billboard ever is very bad. For this I usually see other movies in my house, on the computer. Fortunately, I have a good internet, so I don’t buy movies in the street very much.

Finally, I want say that one of the most important things for me in the cinema is the photography, because through it the director manifest his genius. Obviously the soundtrack and the script also are important, in effect the complement of these three elements make a good film. However I have many favorites films of many different genders, in general i love the movies of David Finsher, Terry Gilliam, Hayao Miyazaki or Stanley Kubrick

The latest books that I've read

Since childhood that I have shown a big interest and curiosity for the books and the novels, in effects, I always want that my parents buy books for me, but they always said that it´s very expensive to them. This situation was a very boring for me but I resolved this problem visit the library of my school. However, this library had only a few books, they are only the books that are required to read in the school, so I not have many options for read. But today the situations is very different and now I have access to many books about different topic, this thank a now I live in a big city with many library’s books stores, but today my principal sources to books of literature is the Marlene house, my girlfriend. Some of the latest books that I've read are "Para un Pueblo Fantasma" by Jorge Teillier (my favorite Chilean poet) and the novel “La fiesta Del Chivo” by Mario Vargas Llosa. This latest book I really enjoy it, but it have a lot of pages, so it takes me like a month ends to read it. The history it’s about a dictator named Rafael Trujillo of República Dominicana, his murder and their consequences. I really like this book, because despite that it’s have fiction elements, it have parts of historic elements because it’s an example of the crimes that were committed in times of dictator ship in Latino-america and it’s a form to remember the history of the continent. So I totally recommend it and if you don’t like read, and also you can watch the movie of this interesting book.

A good friend of mine

I would like to speak about a very good friend of mine. I met Daniel in around 2005 because he was one of my classmates at the school. I became his friend for the reason that we had a lot in common and I feel he is a very good company because we could talk about many and varied topics and this was fun for me.

Later, when I and Daniel go out school, we get in to at the same career, sociology in “La Chile” and we became classmates in the university. I would say we have various things in common. We both like the same kind of music, especially rock music and rap. Also we share an attraction toward for literature and books, but in fact he reads a lot more than I. Actually he is passionate about reading and especially writing. Daniel writing every day since a lot of year, but really he never show me or anyone his writing. I think he is truly embarrassing to show his writing to the people.

What more can I say? I also enjoy our meetings to have a drink and talk about our interests in common. About this, other topic that interests us is the world of the politics. Since we met in school, we always debate about politics and philosophy. That's one of the reasons we chose the career we studied.
